Kim Robbins was born February 26, 1954 in Hinsdale, Illinois. He moved to Bellingham to go to college at Western Washington University and got his Bachelor's degree in Physical Education.
He loved sports more than anything in the world. He was an All American Diver in high school and went on to briefly coach the Bellingham High Schools in diving with much success. He lived for Chicago sports especially and was thrilled beyond words when "Daaaa Cubbies" won the World Series in 2016.
He traveled the world as a kid with his parents and sister. He lived in Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia and Switzerland, and visited so many other places. His stories of his adventures were endless.
He was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him and his charismatic personality and loud, booming voice that could be heard from way across the room. He will be missed by many. He is survived by his son Matthew Robbins, daughter Melissa Robbins, and his two granddaughters.
