Dida was born February 12, 1947 and taken to meet her maker on February 5, 2018. Dida was also known as “Gram Z” not only to her grandkids but to everyone that came thru her door. Family and friends knew if they ever needed a place to stay they could turn to Gram Z. It wasn’t too often she didn’t have a full house or close to it. Her happiest times were when there were family dinners and barbecues. She loved to watch all the littles run around playing and laughing. Dida is preceded in death by her mother and stepdad Kathleen and Paul Osborne; sisters Celeste Alaniz and Camille Alaniz; daughter Denise “Niecey” Taylor; grandson Harvey Fox III; special cousins Mimi McLean and Rose Warbus. She is survived by daughters Kathy Taylor (Lester) of Lummi, Carmen Fox (Lance) of Lummi, Sheleigh Taylor of Spokane; son Sundance Brown of Lummi; sisters Melanie “Timi” Wegley of Bellingham and Paula Osborne of Juneau, Alaska; brothers Henry Keeler Redlightning of Bellingham and Desmond Osborne of Anchorage, Alaska; 16 grandkids; 19 great-grandkids and numerous nieces and nephews. A prayer service will be held on Friday, February 9, at 6:00pm. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 10, at 10:00am.
