What a lovely tribute to a much admired and loved lady! Mrs. Calhoon was a kind friend to my dear parents and a wonderful, benevolent community member for decades in the Lakeland neighborhood.
My sincere sympathies to the whole family.♡
My deepest sympathy in the loss of Carolyn. I had many good times working with her and hiking near Mt. Rainier, and socializing, when your family lived in Federal Way. She was smart, caring, a good listener and loved all her family. So glad She and Jim were able to retire to a place they loved and be close to family. I know how hard it is to lose a Mother and spouse. You will always have wonderful memories of your time together. Thinking of you, Jim, Connie, Chris, the grandchildren, and brother, Charles.
Sincerely, Carol Carnahan.
I loved working with Carolyn! She was my inspiration for my wonderful career in transportation. Thank you for all the wisdom and encouragement Carolyn. I will miss you.
Our condolences to you and your family. Carolyn had a life surrounded by love.. A life to celebrate and honor. Your in our thoughts and prayers.

I'm very sorry for your loss!
We are so sorry to hear of Carolyn's passing. We are both high school classmates of Jim and met Carolyn a couple of yrs after they were married. We played cards when our kids were small and socialized quite a bit back then.
We send our sympathy to all of her family.
Anderson and Calhoon families, I am so sorry to hear the news of your mom and grandma's passing. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
What a nicely written obituary. Carolyn Calhoon was blessed in many ways. My heart goes out to the entire Calhoon family during their time of loss.
