I worked with Merlin for most of his career art the Whatcom County Sheriff's Office. He always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. He always spoke fondly of his wife and even though I had never met his daughter Pam I knew all about her career and how proud her parents were of her accomplishments. Whenever I saw Merlin over the years he always was the same, happy and full of life. Hoping your fond memories of this gentle soul will sustain you through this time,
I am thankful to the Lord for getting to know Merlin over the last number of years. He was faithfully at church for regular meetings as well as fellowship times through the year. His caring for his wife and concern for others was always evident. I look forward to seeing him again in heaven!
My heartfelt condolences in your time of need. May the God of tender mercies(2 Corinthians 1:3,4) comfort you for the days ahead, Psalm 29:11
