Vivian Ilene Kjorvestad, born December 11, 1951 in Bellingham, passed away on June 4, 2018.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Harry and Velma Gerjets; father, Halvor Kjorvestad; mother Bonnie Jolley; and her loving brother-in-law and caregiver for 10 years, Gary Linden. She is survived by her brothers, William Kjorvestad, Harry Stryker, and James Pratt; sisters, Deborah Boyle and Merry Fonville; and sister-in-law Sharon Singer.

She lived in Bellingham, WA most of her life and worked at Northwest Industries and The Guest House Hotel. She also volunteered at the YMCA and Maple Alley Inn Food Bank. After her mother passed, she moved to Arlington, WA and lived with her sister Deborah and her husband Gary. She made many friends through Voices Of The Village, a music group for people with special needs, and Special Olympics bowling. She was well known and loved by many in downtown Arlington. She spent the last months of her life at Providence Pacific Extended Stay where her nurses fell in love with her and cared for her like family, and at High Clover, a home for people with special needs.

A visitation will take place on Thursday, June 14th at 11:00am followed by a funeral service at 1:00pm at Moles Farewell Tributes Greenacres (5700 NW Dr. Ferndale, WA 98248). A graveside committal will follow at Greenacres. There will also be a celebration of life service held at a later date at Smokey Point Community Church.
