You’ll be missed Uncle Jack!! I love you!!
So sorry for your loss. Was out to visit not long ago and jack said , just let me drive my truck to the woods to cut my firewood. I only remember good times , barn jams and lots of singing, Jack & Darlene the two of them singing and jack strumming on his guitar or playing his steel . These are the moments that are flashing in my mind. Good times live on in all our hearts . I can picture jack standing on the stairway to heaven and telling everyone I ‘ll see you when you get here.and I see Laurie “yee hawing” yepper DAD l’ll see ya when I get there. “Jack has officially joined the , ANGEL HILLBILLY. BAND, can you even imagine that ? Love and deepest sympathy to all of you as GOD just took another angel home. KerryAnn Edin (Feenstra) (DOOLEY)
I got to know jack when I moved to area. Found out we were related he was one of the nicest men I have ever met always had a smile and how you doing whenever I saw him. Will miss him lots and will always rember his warm smile.
I think if dad/Grampa could have read that Jenny, he'd have given you a big hug to say thank you for remembering me and good job!. "Memory" was the challenge that became the end as brutal Dementia took over. I think dad would also say if he could "We don't know what words will be our last, or how our minds will hold, so, make little moments count, use your words to be kind. Helpful. Then, if they ever go away, somewhere in you, you will know you left goodness behind."
You were an awesome teacher, dad. I love you. Thank you.
~Love, Laurie aka little Lol.
I am so sorry for your loss. May the words of our loving heavenly Father bring your family comfort and strength during this most difficult time as He promises to bring our loved ones back to life in a perfect world where there will be no more suffering or death (John 5:28-29 & Revelation 21:4).
uncle Jack was such an amazing man. Always smiling always thinking about who was doing what and always wanted to know how you were. I will treasure every memory I have with him. Thanksgiving will never be the same without his smiles. He sang to Dave and I at our wedding and I so loved his voice. Will always miss you Uncle Jack. Hug my dad and tell him we miss him. Hope you all are having fun up there.
