There was much well deserved family love, admiration and respect at Ed's service. He was always the ultimate professional in a very difficult profession and also a mentor to many. Away from his job, he was quite the fun, friendly and light-hearted guy. Bill Bloch "58
Prayers are with you and your family through this time of grief and loss.
He’s not really gone as long as he lives on in the hearts of those he loved and who loved him.
Peace and grace be with you all.
My heart goes out to Kristina and her siblings.
Uncle Ed was a consummate gentleman. I remember him sitting in the chair with his pipe in one hand and a cocktail in the other while visiting with our family during Christmas.
He and my Grandmother, Clara Kesley, had a special bond. He would call her "Granny Greenbeans" because inevitably green beans would be served at every dinner! They had a special bond that would last until she passed away just this past year.
Ed had a way with story telling and jokes!
He will be missed by all.
Erich and family,
You are much in our thoughts today as you lay your father to rest on the beautiful hill overlooking Bellingham and the Bay.
How I would love to see and to hold you again. Thank you for being such a special friend to Keith and to Emma Folkerts. We don't get around well anymore but would love hearing from you or seeing you again. Sincerely, Alyce (Folkerts) Werkema, Lyndenf
