Please accept our condolences. Bill was a honest, reliable, responsible and good person and neighbor. He was a good friend to my father too. I always walk by his old home on Chuckanut and think of the care he took of it and his neighbors.
We will miss him!
My heart is hurting for the loss of my Uncle Bill. He was such a calming gentle spirit, a voice of reason. I am also reminded of a few of his "Billerisms" little sayings he would repeat...precious. I am left with so many memories of our days on the beach at Chuckanut with my cousins Mike & Tim. My prayers are with you all as you process this loss.
To Bob and Christine: The loss of a parent leaves a hole that can't really be filled, but memories go a long way. May you have many joyful memories to ease this sadness! Thinking of you, and sending our deepest sympathy, Jim and DJ Oakes
Bill was a gentle and wise person. He was always a calming influence in the family. After he had Alzheimer's he liked to hold hands or have his shoulders rubbed. His personality shone through, even when he couldn't remember.
